Inside Positions

Clubhouse Starter
Our starters run the retail portion of the business during their shift. A starter does a wide variety of tasks, including scheduling tee times, sending golfers out to the first tee, fixing lunch and snacks for golfers, operating the point-of-sale computer system to ring up sales, monitor the play on the golf course, and keeping the clubhouse in good shape.

Outside Positions

Outside Maintenance
Maintenance employees perform various duties such as mowing, maintaining equipment, working on course landscaping projects, collecting range balls, and other assorted jobs as needed.

Cart Attendant
The beverage cart attendant drives the beverage cart around the course selling alcoholic beverages, sodas, and snacks. This position also involves ringing up sales, giving change, and stocking the cart as needed. This is a part-time position.

Greenskeeper/Assistant Superintendent
A greenskeeper/assistant superintendent is responsible for the ongoing care of Rancho Sierra Golf Course, including mowing, fertilizing, seeding, aerification, and topdressing. This individual will also work on special golf course projects and improvements, will maintain and repair golf course machinery and equipment as needed, and may also have some watering and irrigation duties.

Night Irrigation Specialist
A night irrigation specialist monitors the course conditions (wet and dry areas), sets up sprinklers in the evening, performs night watering (9pm - 5am in the summer, 9pm - 10pm in the winter), repairs broken pipes as needed, and performs other irrigation-related duties.
