| Rancho Sierra Polar Golfer Contest
Are you a 'Polar Golfer'? A Polar Golfer is someone who withstands Antelope Valley weather conditions in the winter to play the best game around - golf! But we're not just looking for any Polar Golfer. We're looking for the Rancho Sierra Polar Golfer - the baddest Polar Golfer who can out-play and out-tough all other Polar Golfers!
The competition will be split into two groups - players with monthly player cards (or monthlies) and non-monthlies with the Rancho Sierra Polar Golfer from each group being awarded a monthly player card. We don't care about scores here - just how much you can endure in the toughest weather the Antelope Valley throws at you! Let the games begin!

The rules are simple:
- The competition is through the month of Jan – 1/1 through 1/31.
- There are two categories for this competition - monthlies and non-monthlies. If a competitor switches mid-month from a monthly to a non-monthly or vice-versa, he/she will be moved to the category in which he/she spent the most days in Jan. Rancho Sierra Golf Course retains the final say in this decision.
- The golfer with the most completed 9 hole rounds of golf through this period from each category will win a monthly player card for use in the month of February. The card cannot be exchanged for cash and does not include cart rental.
- Competitors must sign up on the clubhouse signup sheet.
- Competitors must have or obtain a Rancho Sierra Rewards Card (its free!)
- Competitors must let the starter know before they begin each 9 hole round. They must turn in their score card to be recorded.
- Employees and their family members are not eligible to win, although they can compete for fun.
- No partial rounds are eligible – a round is a full 9 holes – 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9.
- In the case of a tie, the winner will be chosen by random drawing.
- Only non-comp’ed rounds of golf are eligible (monthly fee, daily fee, and reduced rates).
- All competitors must comply with Rancho Sierra Golf Course rules of play.
- Rancho Sierra reserves the right to remove ‘overzealous’ competitors from the competition at management’s discretion.
- Rancho Sierra retains the official leaderboard, and has the final say on the total counts.
